Polynucleotide Treatment in Ipswich
What are Polynucleotides?
Polynucleotides are an aesthetics treatment that can help improve your skin from the outside in. They can be used to treat the face, neck, decolletage or even help to restore thinning hair.
Polynucleotides work with your own unique biology to help fight the signs of ageing. When they are injected they stimulate the cells that are responsible for producing collagen and elastin in the skin.
As we age we lose collagen and elastin and that’s why we start to see the signs of ageing; including lines, wrinkles, dull, saggy and dehydrated skin. Polynucleotides can help to improve the look of ageing skin, improve skin quality and skin laxity and make the skin look more hydrated.
Polynucleotides don’t add volume in the way dermal fillers do, but they do help to boost skin health.

Why choose Dr Linea Medical for Polynucleotides?
We offer Polynucleotides with Dr Linea and Dr Katarina in our Ipswich clinic who are both fully trained in the administering of Polynucleotides using cannula which is an advanced injection technique.
At Dr Linea Medical we use Polynucleotides to help regenerate the skin on the face, neck and decolletage. Unlike many other injectable treatments, Polynucleotides can also be used around the eye area, helping to improve the look of crows feet and improving the skin quality around the eyes.
Most patients will need to have 3 treatments, 2 weeks apart. After these initial treatments you will need maintenance treatments every 6 months.
You will feel a slight stinging sensation when the product is injected. This will be over very quickly. At Dr Linea Medical we put our patients safety and comfort at the forefront of what we do, and we will endeavour to make all treatments as comfortable as possible.
Yes you can, although depending on what other treatment you want to have it may mean coming back for another appointment. Polynucleotides primarily treat skin quality so they can complement other treatments that provide different benefits.
Polynucleotides act at a cellular level and because of this it takes a while before you will see the results. The first results will begin to show about 3 weeks after treatment. You will see the full results after 3 months. We would recommend that after your initial treatments that you adhere to the maintenance plan so that you don’t lose the benefit of these results.
