Obtaining a blood test from your GP can often be challenging, leading many patients to seek private testing options.

If you have health concerns or are worried about potential deficiencies, a blood test can provide valuable insights. These tests can help identify issues, allowing for a targeted approach to treatment and alleviating your health concerns.

At Dr Linea Medical, we will soon offer a range of blood tests, including:

FBC (Full Blood Count)
U&E (Urea & Electrolytes)
LFT (Liver Function Test)
Lipids
Nutrition
TF (Thyroid Function)
Hormones
Testosterone
Diabetes Mellitus
Wellness Check
Wellness Check + Hormones

Your blood samples will be sent to a certified laboratory for thorough testing, and within five days, your results will be ready to discuss. Along with the results, we will provide tailored recommendations based on the findings to help you understand your health better.

Follow-Up Treatment Options

If your blood test results indicate deficiencies in certain vitamins or health concerns, we also offer intramuscular injections and IV drips. After a consultation, we can recommend appropriate treatment options to help rectify any deficiencies identified in your blood tests. We can also refer you to a Private GP, alongside your results, following your blood test, if required.

How long does it take to get blood test results?

Results are typically available within five days after your blood sample is sent to the certified lab.

What should I expect during the blood test?

A trained professional will take a small sample of blood via a simple injection, which is quick and generally painless.

Do I need to fast before the blood test?

Some tests may require fasting beforehand. We will provide specific instructions based on the tests you are having.

Will I receive advice based on my results?

Yes, along with your results, we will offer tailored recommendations to help you address any deficiencies or health concerns identified in the tests.

Can I choose which tests to take?

Yes, you can select from the available tests based on your health concerns or recommendations from our team.

What if my results show a deficiency?

It was my first visit to Dr Linea yesterday for tear trough treatment and I was extremely nervous. However, I was greeted warmly by Flora, and she was so sweet, informative and friendly.It was wonderful to meet Dr Linea, (she is so beautiful) we spoke about my problem under my eyes. She was very professional and honest. She told me it may take two treatments to get my desired results. Everyone is different. I was offered a stress ball, which really helped me. Dr Linea was quick, gentle and spoke to me throughout. I’m happy with my results, no bruising and looking forward to going back for my review.I will definitely return for more treatments in the future, as everyone made me feel at ease.

I’ve visited Dr Linea and her team for the last few months and I just cannot fault the deapth of her knowledge and expertise in being able to rejuvenate and enhance facial features so naturally. She truly is a master of her profession, really listens and advises before treatments , and after a not so great previous experience elsewhere, I can’t thank her enough for my fabulous, natural results. Her team are warm, helpful and friendly and my only anxiety now is fearing she may retire one day! I really couldn’t trust anyone else. My advice would be to anyone trawling online for a suitable practitioner, stop here and just book in with Dr Linea !
