A small step towards a more confident and beautiful you
Dr Linea knows how much her work means to her clients, as she explains: “Our Botox® treatment doesn’t have to be unnatural looking – it can be fresh faced with no tell-tale signs that you’ve had it. Clients keep coming back with smile on their face and their confidence boosted. It’s wonderful to know they trust me. They look natural and younger but no one knows their secret!”
Leave those lines behind
The leading light in wrinkle relaxing procedures is the drug Botulinum Toxin – more commonly known by the brand name Botox®.
The Botox® procedure involves making tiny local injections, which relax facial expression muscles and smooth down lines on the face and neck area. It can be used to treat forehead wrinkles, frown lines, crow’s feet and saggy jowls or wherever you feel your face might need a pick me up. It is also used to treat teeth grinding, excessive sweating and gummy smiles.
Botox® has been safely used for over 60 years in non-surgical cosmetic treatment and rigorously tested worldwide. Although Botox® is an established technique, Dr Linea keeps up with any new industry developments and only uses UK registered and approved muscle relaxant brand Azzalure®. Therefore, you can be completely assured that you will be getting the very best level of professional medical care throughout your treatment.
An individual approach
Our Botox® treatment plan is uniquely created for each client. Initially, Dr Linea will discuss the best course of Botox® treatment according to your personal medical needs and desired over all look. She will clearly explain how the procedure works and any possible side effects. After the short and relatively painless treatment, Botox® effects take between 48 hours to 10 days to become visible and last up to 3 to 4 months. More permanent effects can be achieved through closer time appointments as per your treatment plan. Dr Linea offers a free review and top-up session to discuss your progress, ensuring that you are completely happy with your new look.
Unlike traditional needles, where botox is manually delivered, Juvapen, also known as ‘Robot botox’, is delivered via a mini-motorised syringe to exact required dose. With gradual placement and less pressure via the motorised device, there is a reduced risk of bruising and other immediate side effects. A very fine needle is also used with makes it a much less painful for patients, studies showing that patients find it at least 50% less painful than the traditional method of delivery.
Botox® treatment can be used for the following problem areas:
- Lines in the corner of your eyes, known as ‘crow’s feet’
- Vertical frown lines between your eyebrows (frown lines)
- Horizontal lines on your forehead
- Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)
- Gummy smiles
- Bruxism (teeth grinding)
- Reduction of overdeveloped jaw muscles (masseters)
- Dimpled chin
- Smoker’s lines

“Will my face look frozen?”
Dr Linea says: “ I can formulate botox treatment to what look you would like to achieve, some people prefer a completely frozen look, others like a natural look with movement and expression. I like to start new patients for botox treatment with minimal doses and offer a free top up appointment 1 month post treatment to add more if necessary.”
“What is the aftercare for Botox?”
Dr Linea says: “After Botox, I advise that my patients do not apply any make up to the treated areas until the next day after treatment. I also advise not to drink any alcohol after having botox that day, the following day you are able enjoy a glass or two if you wish.”
“How long will it last?”
Dr Linea says: “At the start of Botox treatment it usually lasts 3-4 months, but the more regularly you attend for Botox, the longer it can last. It is very much on an individual basis but we can see what works for each individual to achieve the best and long lasting results.”
“Am I too young for Botox?”
Dr Linea says: “You must 18 years of age for you to undergo any aesthetic procedures. I believe prevention is better than cure, its best to treat lines that you can see when actively frowning or smiling for example, these are called dynamic lines. If the line is visible when resting, Botox can still be used but a combination of treatments maybe be required. I treat patients from various age groups, with a variety of concerns, and Botox is often the first step to help prevent and soften lines.”
